Terms of Service

Last updated: October 13, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of JunkOS and its websites, dashboard, mobile apps, software, communications tools, AI features, AI-assistant connector, integrations and related services (the "Services"). The Services are provided by True North Systems LLC, doing business as JunkOS ("JunkOS," "we," "us").

By creating an account, accepting an order or subscription, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Services for a company, you agree for that company, and "you" means the company.

1. The Services

JunkOS is business software for junk-removal and similar service businesses. Features can include customer and lead management, jobs, estimates, scheduling, calls and texts, payments, marketing, websites, reviews, reporting, AI features and integrations. Features can differ by plan, platform and stage of release.

2. Accounts and users

You must be at least 18 and authorized to accept these Terms. You are responsible for:

  • keeping sign-in details secure;
  • keeping account and company information accurate;
  • deciding which staff get access and with what role;
  • removing access promptly when someone should no longer have it; and
  • activity performed through your accounts.

You may not share sign-ins in a way that gets around user, business or permission controls.

3. Your data

You keep your rights in the information, records, photos, communications and other material you or your users put into JunkOS ("Customer Data"). You give JunkOS the rights reasonably needed to host, transmit, process and use Customer Data to provide, secure, support and improve the Services.

You confirm you have the rights, notices and consents needed to put Customer Data into JunkOS and to have us process it. You are responsible for your relationships with your own customers, employees and contractors. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.

4. Calls, texts and compliance

JunkOS provides calling, texting (SMS and MMS) and email through third-party providers and carriers. You are responsible for making sure your communications follow the law and industry rules, including getting required consent and honoring opt-out requests. You may not use JunkOS to send spam, deceptive messages, harassment, or messages you are not authorized to send. Carrier rules, registration requirements, filtering and provider policies can affect whether a message is delivered.

5. AI features

AI can produce incomplete, wrong or unexpected results. You are responsible for choosing your automation settings and for using reasonable judgment before relying on AI output. Some actions require confirmation or other safeguards in JunkOS; you may not try to get around them. JunkOS uses third-party AI providers as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Using JunkOS from an AI assistant

You may connect JunkOS to a third-party AI assistant such as ChatGPT, Claude or Grok. When you do:

  • the assistant acts for you, with your JunkOS permissions, and actions it takes on your instruction are your actions;
  • your use of the assistant is also governed by that assistant provider's own terms and policies; and
  • you can disconnect at any time, and an owner or admin can turn the JunkOS assistant off for any team member.

7. Third-party services

JunkOS can connect to services such as Google, Meta, Twilio, Stripe, Plaid and email providers. Those services have their own terms. We are not responsible for a third party's services, outages, account suspensions, policy changes or actions outside our control. You authorize JunkOS to exchange information with a service you connect, to the extent needed to provide that integration.

8. Fees and payment

Paid Services are billed under the plan, order or subscription terms shown to you, which may include usage-based AI credits where applicable. You agree to pay fees and taxes when due. If recurring billing is on, you authorize charges to your payment method until the subscription ends. You can cancel through the billing portal in JunkOS; cancelling stops future renewals. We may change prices going forward with notice. Unpaid amounts can lead to suspension of paid features.

9. Collecting payment from your customers

JunkOS can help you invoice and collect payment from your own customers through connected payment providers (currently Stripe for card payments). JunkOS does not buy or sell the junk-removal or other services you provide. You are responsible for your services, your prices and invoices, refunds and disputes, taxes on your services, and following your payment provider's rules.

10. Acceptable use

You may not use the Services to:

  • break the law or violate someone else's rights;
  • access another business's data without authorization;
  • introduce malware or interfere with JunkOS's operation or security;
  • get around sign-in, permissions, safeguards, usage limits or technical restrictions;
  • commit fraud or deceptive, abusive or unlawful activity;
  • probe or exploit security weaknesses, except in an authorized security-testing program; or
  • resell or sublicense the Services without a written agreement allowing it.

11. Our software

JunkOS and its licensors own the Services, software, design, documentation and trademarks, excluding Customer Data and third-party materials. Subject to these Terms and payment of fees, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services for your internal business operations during your subscription.

12. Feedback

If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them without restriction or payment to you. This does not give us ownership of your Customer Data.

13. Preview features

Some features may be labeled beta, preview or experimental. They may change, fail or be discontinued and may have different support. Do not rely on them for a critical workflow unless you have decided the risk is acceptable.

14. Availability and changes

We work to keep JunkOS reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may add, change or remove features. When practical, we will give active paying customers reasonable notice before a change that materially disrupts them.

15. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or restrict access when reasonably necessary to address a security threat, prevent fraud or unlawful use, enforce these Terms, respond to non-payment, comply with law or provider requirements, or protect other customers or the Services. You may stop using the Services and cancel under your plan's terms. When access ends, data export and retention are handled under your plan, the Privacy Policy and the law.

16. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." JUNKOS DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. JUNKOS DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT AI OUTPUT, ESTIMATES, ATTRIBUTION, MARKETING RECOMMENDATIONS, TRANSCRIPTS OR OTHER AUTOMATED RESULTS WILL ALWAYS BE ACCURATE.

17. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (A) JUNKOS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL OR DATA; AND (B) JUNKOS'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID JUNKOS FOR THE SERVICES IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

18. Indemnification

You will defend and indemnify JunkOS against third-party claims, and the resulting losses and reasonable costs, arising from: (a) your Customer Data; (b) calls, texts and emails you send through the Services, including claims about consent or opt-outs; or (c) your breach of these Terms or the law. JunkOS will promptly tell you about the claim and reasonably cooperate, and you may control its defense, but you may not settle a claim that imposes obligations on JunkOS without our consent.

19. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the Services will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Deschutes County, Oregon (for federal court, the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon), and both parties consent to those courts' jurisdiction.

20. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Services change. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will give notice where required. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them, to the extent the law allows.
